Uncertainty, fear, limbo and huge changes in routine can all contribute adversely on our mental health and sleep. This is an especially tough time for anyone who has to work on their anxiety levels normally.

Emma is an accredited psychotherapist with have extensive experience working within the NHS as a psychosexual therapist and previously as a specialist midwife within perinatal mental health services. She also worked for Relate as a psychosexual and relationship therapist for a number of years.
Emma's private practice has moved to an online service and offers psychosexual and relationship therapy, CBT and EMDR.

Nic Wagstaff features in a number of our community hive sections because her approach covers a wide range of techniques. Nic is a hypnotherapist, coach, leadership trainer, yoga teacher and retreat organiser. Through her own journey she has specialised in anxiety and stress, which is one reason she has such a versatile series of techniques to tap into.
Here is a little introduction to what Nic is doing to support the community and an example meditation.
Nic has also started a free singalong session for people to join. Th next date is not set but they take place via zoom and contact Nic if you want to join in the next event.

Manuela Surgeon runs MTS Psychotherapy, who has 25 years’ experience working in NHS and independent mental health services. As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, Manuela has experience working with clients with a range of mental health conditions. The areas of expertise are recurrent anxiety/fears, depression, past and recent trauma related to abuse, relationship problems, self-harm and self-esteem.

Angelo is a hypnotherapist and coach. He has switched his services to online via video conferencing or telephone. Some of these services, such as SleepTalk(R) work very well as in this instance the parent is trained in how to help their child. Others are not available at this time but there is plenty support and coaching to
