Noella Grace

Noella Grace | Jazz Dance Stretch & Tone Class | Beehive Healthcare Chester

I'm a Dance Teacher, Choreographer and an Exercise To Music Instructor
With a background as a professional dancer and choreographer, my classes cover a range of dance styles, including tap, jazz and ballet.

One of my greatest loves is musical theatre and I have choreographed a wide range of work including ‘Carousel’, ‘Oliver’, Crazy For You” and ‘A Chorus Line”.

Several of Noella’s former young pupils have worked in West End and touring productions.

I moved on to teach children and began choreographing, eventually progressing to full-scale musicals, where I would often be working with fully trained dancers. Over time people would ask me if I had adult dance classes. Eventually, I realised yhat there was a gap in provision for adult dance related fitness.

Here at Beehive, my latest class is Jazz Dance Stretch & Tone

Apart from my love of dance and music, I love musical theatre, art, interior design, costume design, psychology, creative cookery, baking, fashion through the ages, animals- particularly cats- I have three presently, the Italian language (which hope to learn properly one day) and and Italy itself, which I toured as a young dancer.

"Noella teachers tap, ballet and jazz and I would describe the classes as fitness, fun and friendship.  We keep fit by dancing; have fun while we are doing it, in the company of nice people.

The classes are of mixed ability and the challenge is to improve your own performance rather than beat someone else.

We also meet up and go to the theatre and have meals out.  What's not to like?"

“If you want to be truly inspired and love to dance, come to one or more of Noella’s classes. If I had more time I would love to go to all of her classes. There is something for everyone and Noella is a very patient teacher.”

“I attend two classes a week run by Noella – adult tap and ballet. Noella is very professional, encouraging teacher and takes good care of us. She challenges us, involves us and helps us achieve positive outcomes. The classes are very happy and friendly. We are like an extended family, offering support for each other.”

“Not only does your body get a thorough workout at all of Noella' s very friendly and enjoyable classes, but your mind is kept active as well with her brilliant choreography.”

“Having been a tapper for over 65 years, I thoroughly enjoy taking Noella's Tuesday evening class. Everyone has made me feel so very welcome and the class caters for those who have never put on a pair of tap shoes before to those who have been tapping a long time - there is always something new to learn!
The dances we learn are widely diverse thus keeping the class interesting and innovative. Noella remains calm under every circumstance and is also attentive to each individual's needs of tuition. Well done Noella!”
Linda (Chester)

“I joined one of Noella's Tap dancing classes 4 years ago after my previous class folded and her Ballet class a few months ago. I really enjoy Noella's classes and have met some lovely people. I love doing new routines and preparing for our annual Christmas show. There is a class for everyone whether beginner or advanced and all are made welcome. And it's good exercise!” Joyce J.
