What it is and what I can expect?

Learning how to support your baby while they grow can be overwhelming.  Let us help you.

At Nutrition and Nurture there is infant feeding support wherever and whenever you need it – From getting started to back to work.

What is it good for?

Antenatal Support can be in the form of a private consultation or innovative workshop, looking at some of the science behind how bodies make milk so you understand how to maximise it and what to do if there is a problem.

Newborn support is where we guide you through the existing evidence so you feel confident in your decisions and work to help you develop the skills you need to feed your baby.  Some of the things we help with are:

  • Positioning and attachment
  • Nipple pain and trauma
  • Bottle feeding
  • Mastitis
  • Weight gain concerns
  • Breast pain
  • Engorgement
  • Thrush
  • Frequent feeding
  • Lack of sleep
  • Unsettled behaviour
  • Allergies
  • Reflux symptoms
  • Long feeds
  • Falling asleep at the breast
  • Maternal health concerns
  • Infant health concerns
  • Weaning from the breast
  • Expressing
  • Relactation or induced lactation
  • Premature babies
  • Multiple babies
  • Milk Supply issues
  • Windiness
  • Colic symptoms
  • Tongue tie referral
  • Milk blebs
  • Blocked ducts

Postnatal Support may help with what lies ahead, perhaps weaning or returning to work.
