What it is and what I can expect?
Pregnancy can be a time of great emotional and physical shifts, a pregnancy massage can greatly support the natural process and allows the mother time to connect and focus on herself and her baby.
Aromatherapy is a part of herbal medicine in which highly concentrated essential oils are extracted from plants and used for therapeutic purposes. The oils have a pharmacological action and work in a similar way to medicines.
A personalised Essential Oil Blend would be made to help you relax and soothe your body with a bespoke selection of essential oils blended specifically to suit your needs
Aromatherapy massage is a great way to unwind and enjoy some relaxation time whilst helping to relieve any discomfort you may be experiencing. It can also relieve discomfort or pain which may occur as your body adapts to your growing baby and is suitable if you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimester (from 12 weeks onwards) until 6 weeks after your baby is born.
The appointments are for 45 minutes for an aromatherapy massage and a personalised blend, but it is also possible to provide a massage using a carrier oil if you do not wish to have aromatherapy oils used.
