What is it? and What should I expect?
Nutritional consultations use the field of nutrition science to promote and support you with good health. The “normal” modern western lifestyle can have horrible effects on the body. Processed foods, refined carbohydrates, sugars and chemicals are part of most people’s everyday diet and unfortunately the side effects are becoming normal as well. In adopting a nutritionally beneficial and sustainable way of eating rather than “dieting”. they will evaluate the root cause of any problems and not just symptoms. The ‘whole person’ is cared for holistically, tailoring a diet that is best suited to you, and to this should lead to amazing health and vitality, increased energy, improved skin conditions or weight loss if desired.
First they will ask you lots of detailed questions about the problems you are experiencing and the food that you are eating right now. Next, they will explain how food affects your health and discuss changes that will allow you to restore your health.
We will discuss a range of topics during your sessions, covering things like:
- Existing diet and lifestyle
- Common food sensitivities
- Recommended alterations to current diet
- Harmful & Healing foods
- Organic foods
- Juices & Drinks
- Rainbow diet
- Raw food Supplements
- Raw food preparation techniques
Our bodies are resilient and put up with the stresses and strains modern living demands of them, yet gradually, the cracks begin to appear... Niggling symptoms that we tend to ignore begin to surface; we may begin to gain a little weight, have the odd headache or just begin to feel tired a lot of the time. If these symptoms are left untreated a state of ill-health begins to develop.
The body has an amazing way to heal itself with nutrition.
What is it best for?
Just as we are all different externally, we are equally unique internally in the way we digest, absorb, metabolise, break down our food and excrete waste products. Our environment, emotions and relationships can also influence these factors so there can never be a ‘one diet suits all’ model for optimal health.
To bring inspiration to go home and make changes to the food you eat on a daily basis so that you will have radiant health, abundant energy and live a longer life.
